El curso se divide en 4 módulos: Introducción al concepto de capital natural y servicios ecosistémicos Descripción del proyecto InVEST, NatCap´s software como herramienta para el mapeo, el modelado y valoración de servicios ecosistémicos. y 4. Ofrece una revisión de las habilidades necesarias para crear modelos InVEST, incluyendo recomendaciones sobre cómo resumir y comunicar los resultados del modelo de una manera efectiva a los actores locales y otras audiencias.
